When it comes to friends they are the easiest to make and the hardest to keep. It seems that I can never find anyone that is at least similar to me - especially morally wise. Kind of sucks. I know that it sucks even more for younger girls that have no idea how to hand certain pressures of being a teen or a tween. It’s also hard for them to differentiate when a friend is a friend and when that so-called friend should or would be better off just not being in their lives.

When you are a youngster you just think everything is SO important right then. And that friends - even the bad ones, are a must have in your life. Now after 28 years I finally know that I get to choose who is my friend and who isn’t. And if someone is mean or nasty or makes rumors about you - well its common sense. But when you are a kid it can become worrisome as to what to do. And in these cases I would suggest checking out a BFF website online.

One site I found was completely dedicated to besties all around. It actually had specific “inquiries” from tweens and teens regarding best friends and how to handle certain situations. Then, people could come and comment on the blog. This is cool because if you are a teen or tween you could search around on the site, find a similar problem this person has written about and see what the commentators say about the situation and what to do. For instance:

What Do You Get Your Best Friend For Her 16th Birthday?: I need and original idea for a present to my best friend for her 16th birthday. It needs to be something that won’t be too time consuming and I don’t really care about the price within reason. She already got a car so I was thinking something that would go with it, but I can’t think of what. Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer: Get her a gift card to her favorite store and then put in a cute purse from coach or something. Good luck!

How Do I Get Over Losing My Best Friend?: So here the deal. Me and my bestfriend had been best friends for years and as soon as we got to high school we started drifting apart. Now we don’t ever talk anymore. How do I get over losing my friend I mean we used to talk about everything together now we barely look at each other. What should I do!

Answer: This happens to practically anyone. You grew apart maybe she did more so than you, but that’s just how life goes. Just go about your life, make new friends and you’ll find a best friend 10 times better than that one.

What Is The Best Way To Tell Your Bff To Stop Gossiping Behind Your Back?: I need help my very best is gossiping behind my back I’ll come clean to her, but she just goes and does it again??? Help!

Answer: She’s not a BFF if she does that (good simple answer!)

Its like that on the complete site. Just find what you are looking for by either doing a search or taking a look at the tags aka keywords on the menu. Find the blog you want, read it and see if it pertains to you and read the comments. Don’t take the goofy comments to heart. I read some of these and actually laughed. Read the good comments, think about what they said and then try to do it in your own life! Good luck!
